ClayMation SHORTS | Movies Camp

Lights, camera, claymation! This fun and creative Claymation Movie Short Summer Camp invites kids ages 6–13 to become animators for the week. From 9:00 AM–12:00 PM each day, campers will brainstorm original story ideas, bring characters and scenes to life, and work together to create a short Claymation movie.

Students will learn the basics of storytelling, filming, acting, directing, and editing while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork skills. Each day includes hands-on claymation movie-making activities where campers will plan & create scenes, shoot footage, help score the soundtrack and edit content into an original short film they can proudly share with family and friends.

Whether your child loves drawing, sculpting, acting, storytelling, or being behind the camera, this camp is the perfect place to imagine and create, in this collaborative adventure!

Calistoga 4th of July float camp

When: Week of June 29th - July 3rd with float ride on July 4th

Time: 10:00am - 1:00pm

Fee: Full week: $225 | Single day: $45 (when reviewing registration page single day options appears after you click register)

Come help CAC build this year’s parade float! This years theme is: Celebrating Our Past, Present, and Future, (encouraging entries that reflect creativity, community spirit, and celebration of this milestone)

Your camper will learn skills like paper mache, painting, cutting and develop their creative problem solving resolve. This camp supports learning how to collaborate and work together as a team and feel a sense of fulfillment by helping to see this project through to the end. All participants are welcome and encouraged to ride the float on the 4th through Calistoga.

SUMMER 3 Day MINI CAMPS for Kids

Cost: $135 for 3 days, Individual days only available after minimum participants met of 6, Cost: $45/day*

Busy Schedule? Don’t have time for a full week of camp? These dates may work for you!

Mini Camps will be filled some more traditional camp creations like, Ojo de Dios weavings, solar prints and mosaic trivets, to name a few arty projects.

*A minimum of 6 registrations each day required for the Mini Camps to run. Attending all 3 days works best but if we reach minimum for each day, then we will accept single day registrations.
