REclaimed ‘Tins’/metal Earrings workshop

Ages: 18+ / 21+

In this workshop you will learn how to nurture your creativity by re-seeing ordinary materials as artistic material. By using your imagination and simple tools, you will transform a used thing into a new thing. In this workshop we will focus on creating up to 2 pairs of one-of-a-kind earrings. You won’t look at ‘tin cans’ the same.

Tools and materials will be provided. (After registration you will be sent a list of extra tools and materials to bring if you have.)

You are encouraged to collect and bring your own tin cans/trays etc.

FYI: Instructor will most likely be grinding the edges-if time runs out you may have to return to pick up finished earrings.

Reclaimed Tins & Tools Open Studio

(Prerequisite is attendance in a Reclaimed Tin Earrings workshop)

When: Friday July 17th

Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Fee: $30

Once a month, come look through collected tin and use tools to repurpose tins and metal containers with enameled (not paper) labels and decorations, into earrings, brooches, make a magnet or a plaque. 

Tins and tools galore will be available to you to continue creating out of reclaimed tin. You are welcome to bring your own tins and tools also. Instructor Anna will oversee and guide/help.

Feel free to bring a snack or beverage.
