Experience the fun and satisfaction of making something for your home or as a gift and learning professional sewing techniques by creating your own one-of-a-kind accent pillow cover.
Sallie will teach you construction skills and techniques needed to create a decorative pillow cover: measuring, cutting, assembling & closure options (including a zipper).
Emma will show you how to create your own unique embellishment/decoration using free motion embroidery and couching techniques that will add a 3 dimensional textural element to your pillow covering.
All these skills can be applied to future sewing projects.
You must bring your own pillow (1 or 2 max) and fabric of your choice. The standard decorative pillow is 20”x20”.
