Pet portraits in Watercolor!

Choose a favorite photo of a pet and learn how to render it as a watercolor portrait. Over two weeks, you’ll receive instruction in foundational drawing skills and watercolor technique from an artist who has painted many commissioned pet portraits in watercolor. 

Instructor Hannah Day will share her insights and her approach to rendering animals in this medium, guiding you through a layering process that builds vibrancy, detail, and depth.

Whether you’re new to watercolor or have experience with the medium, this class offers a fun opportunity to develop your skills while creating a personal portrait of a beloved pet. Your finished painting can be a meaningful keepsake—or a unique holiday gift.” 

All levels of experience are welcome! 

All materials are provided, but students are encouraged to bring their own pallet if they have one.
