6-Week Oil Painting Workshop

This 6 week oil painting workshop is designed for students who want to learn the fundamentals of oil painting. Over the course of 6 weeks students will learn the techniques and skills to complete a finished medium-sized oil painting. Students will learn composition, color mixing, brush techniques, values, layering and finishing methods.

Materials:

• 1 canvas 30"x30" or 30"x40"

• oil paints (small tubes) white, black, blue, red, yellow, green

• brushes 5-7 (different sizes)

• 2 cleaning cloths

• 1 odorless turpanoid
