Mustard Celebration
Calistoga is celebrating mustard bloom season. Partnering with Calistoga Chamber of Commerce and Calistoga Parks & Recreation, Calistoga Art Center is hosting 2 landscape painting workshops, one for children and one for adults. With the gorgeous yellow fields of mustard in mind, CAC instructors will guide you in painting your own version of this spectacular yellow blooming landscape.
Mustard Festival - Landscape painting for kids
Sunday January 26th, 1pm-4pm
Indulge in waves of yellow! Using different mediums of watercolor and acrylics, participants will be guided in painting Mustard field landscapes. The artists will then write a short BIO and their experience with painting their landscape. This class promises not just artistic exploration but also a fulfilling creative journey.
Following the class, the pieces of art will be on display in the Calistoga Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center (1457 Lincoln Ave) February 1st - 14th. During this time, parents, community members, visitors can come to the Welcome Center and purchase tickets ($1/ticket or $5/10 tickets) for a chance to win one of the unique pieces of children's art. This not only encourages and showcases the artistic talents of young participants but also supports the Arts. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Calistoga Art Center.

Mustard Festival - Paint & Sip: Mustard Field Landscapes for adults 21+
Sunday February 16th, 2pm-4pm with Diane Kuykendall
Inspired by the wonder of fields of mustard flowers that emerge and delight us every year, painter Diane Kuykendall will guide participants in painting interpretations of these landscapes. Open to all levels of artistic and painting experience. All materials are included. You are welcome to bring brushes and paints that you have. We recommend that you also bring an apron. CAC has some to use (of varying cleanliness).
Workshop Fee - $35.00, early bird discount -20% ($28.00) thru 1/24/2025
