This class will cover professional sewing techniques for novices or self-taught beginners, with a brief introduction to pattern-making and design. You will learn basic hand and machine sewing skills by creating an apron design of your choice.
Experience the excitement of sewing your own design from scratch! Plus, these basic skills can be applied to future sewing projects.
We will provide supplies to be shared but if you have any of the following items or would like to purchase some, see list below:

Fabric for your apron, approximately 1 yd. 45” wide (need by the second class)
Fabric scissors
Hand sewing needles
See through plastic ruler
Measuring tape
Tailors chalk
Seam ripper
Tracing wheel
Tracing paper
Pins - I prefer glass head for sewing and dorcas for fittings
One package of single bias tape
