CAC Summer Camps

Summer Camp through Calistoga Parks & Recreation at CAC

When: June 15th - 19th 2026

Time: 1:30pm - 4:30pm

Fee: Free for Calistoga Residents. MUST REGISTER THROUGH PARKS & REC: GO HERE

This week will be full of various creative projects in the visual arts.

Calistoga 4th of July float camp

When: Week of June 29th - July 3rd with float ride on July 4th

Time: 10:00am - 1:00pm

Fee: Full week: $225 | Single day: $45

Come help CAC build this year’s parade float! This years theme is: Celebrating Our Past, Present, and Future, (encouraging entries that reflect creativity, community spirit, and celebration of this milestone)

Your camper will learn skills like paper mache, painting, cutting and develop their creative problem solving resolve. This camp supports learning how to collaborate and work together as a team and feel a sense of fulfillment by helping to see this project through to the end. All participants are welcome and encouraged to ride the float on the 4th through Calistoga.

Float Camp

SHORTS! Make a Movie Camp: Intro to storytelling with video

Lights, phone camera, action! This fun and creative Movie Shorts Summer Camp invites kids ages 6–13 to become filmmakers for the week. From 9:00 AM–12:00 PM each day, campers will brainstorm original story ideas, bring characters and scenes to life, and work together to create their own short films.

Students will learn the basics of storytelling, filming, acting, directing, and editing while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork skills. Each day includes hands-on movie-making activities where campers will plan scenes, shoot footage, and edit content into original short films they can proudly share with family and friends.

Whether your child loves acting, storytelling, or being behind the camera, this camp is the perfect place to imagine, create, and shine on screen!
