Time: 10am - 12pm

This class will show participants how to adapt pencil pressure, dark and light shading, Basic shapes in nature, simple perspective, lost and found edges, drop shadows, symmetry, specular highlights, drawing from life, free form doodling (Neuro graphics) and even how to draw a straight line! One can expect to draw more confidently and with better hand to eye coordination after taking this class. Welcoming beginners and advanced participants 

The materials suggested* for this workshop are:

  • Graphite pencils ~ preferably Blackwing  # F, 2B and 6B

  • A Faber Castell- kneaded eraser

  • A Canson 9” X 12” Universal Sketch Book ( wire bound )

  • A Hand-held pencil sharpener

  • Masking Tape

  • A Drawing board ( 15” X 15” at least )

Options include:  A monoKNOCK3B eraser, A pigma Micron .05 archival ink pen ~OR~ Your own paper 9”X 12”. Leaded pencils and erasers, a drawing board
